I believe my life has in part been shaped by my surroundings, and for that I am profoundly grateful. I was blessed into a loving family and have been exposed to a diverse range of people and places – having lived in the Philippines, Washington DC and currently in Toronto, Canada. Along the way, I have learned several languages, explored my love of art, fashion and literature. I have had a fruitful career in the financial industry, both as an educator and a learner. What I have come to realize in recent years, is that I am not only shaped by external factors, but also by my inner self. My exploration of a higher level of consciousness has led me to become a Reiki Master, practising energy healing. This practice has helped me endure the highs and lows of life that have tested me physically, mentally and emotionally. My journey has taught me how to rely on the light from within, to follow my intuition and to persevere through hardship. As I continue this path, I have learned perspective. Perspective that all of the ‘things’ in life are temporary. Perspective that our energy is permanent. Perspective that we are all connected.
